One-way Information Radio

The Washington Post shipping team had a real-life transportation nightmare. They absolutely had to load the morning edition before sunrise, but dock traffic would jam with huge trucks often piloted by confused drivers. Thanks to a cost effective one-way information radio system by LPB (and a sign that reads "Tune in to AM 610"), the team was able to direct drivers right on the AM dial. Today, loading times and traffic control at the dock have never been better. And stress levels are lower than ever before.

When Los Angeles International Airport had a message, LPB took it to the streets. Better yet, we hit the Highway. The LPB system was installed in 1972 on AM 530 and Highway Advisory Radio was born. We worked hand-in-hand with the FCC on that system and many projects since. LPB is proud to have helped pave the way for new FCC rules on Highway Advisory Radio and Limited Area Broadcasting (FCC parts 90 and 15).

If you need to alert or inform, LPB has one-way that is sure to get the job done.
